Andrew Brito is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lyndhurst, NJ who attends St Mary. Medium, athletic build with loose, athletic actions and a projectable frame with room for additional strength to be added. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, short arm action coming through the back side, collects well at the ball, shows carry and accuracy when on top of ball, nice arm strength and comes out of hand easy, long release with a quick arm. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance and a high hand set. Smooth swing and shows fluidity with a feel for the barrel. Slight uphill in plane, uses hands well with direct path to the ball. Short to the ball, occasionally opens front side early but shows feel and ability to hit to all fields. Nice tools all around.
