Hayden Milling is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Kings Ridge Christian. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball out front, gains short ground with lower half and can continue to implement additional footwork into release, lower elbow on release, remains upright at release, shows carry on throws down to second base. Nice first step in the outfield, throws from a tight, lower release point and shows nice arm strength and carry, on line accuracy with smooth actions and a quick release. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright stance in the box with a lower hand set at the plate; utilizes a simple leg lift trigger for timing at start of swing. Works with a linear path through the zone and shows a feel for the barrel. Creates line drive contact off the barrel and comfort hitting to the pull side when on time with load, projects well physically. Excellent student.
