Ricky Maddock is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Kirkwood Sr High School. Medium frame with present strength in body. 3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm action. Fastball flashed arm side run when out front with good extension. Held balance point for a bit before starting delivery. Developed a feel for his curveball that flashed good depth with 2/8 shape. Hit from a square stance, quiet approach, good barrel through hitting zone with pretty good feel for barrel. Stay s balanced and gets good extension through ball. Defensively, good athletic actions at first with good range to both sides, Glove works well and showed ability to pick low throws consistently.
