Taylor Just is a 2017 RHP/UT with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Pewaukee, WI who attends Brookfield Academy HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build, room to put on additional muscle as he continues to mature. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a 3/4 arm lot, short arm circle in the back, solid arm speed, high knee lift, gets extension out front. Fastball generates good arm side run, keeps the ball down in the zone. Changeup has late sinking action, showed deceptiveness. 11/5 curveball shape, late break, has good feel for it. Pitches to spots, has an idea how to pitch. From the outfield, fields the ball to glove side, solid footwork, smooth transitions, keeps momentum moving toward target, long over the top arm action on throws, solid arm strength. At the plate, starts with a wide stance. Extends arms back on load, loose hands, swings on a line drive swing plane, good balance, showed extension through the baseball, opposite field approach. Good student.
