Eric Cunning is a 2020 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 183 lb. frame from Marlton, NJ who attends Camden Catholic High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, high waist with a projectable build and room to fill throughout. Primary righthanded pitcher, side step moving into delivery with a high leg lift up past belt and shows balance at top; loads on backside and strides on line down the mound. Full arm action through the back working to an extended/lower three-quarters release point. Gets on top of the fastball well, topped out at 80 mph, mostly true in life but worked on top of the ball well. Curveball shows 11-5 shape, lower slot at release slightly, up to 70 mph with the pitch. Changeup shows proper rotation, topped out at 73 mph with the pitch. Very good student.
