Chris Peralta is a 2018 OF/2B with a 6-0 176 lb. frame from Lynbrook, NY who attends Valley Stream South High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted an impressive 6.97 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, got good momentum into throws with a longer arm action and accuracy to the bases. Showed arm strength up to 82 mph and flashed carry. At the plate, started with a spread stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and utilized a slight leg lift timing mechanism. Showed raw bat speed and primarily worked swing through upper half. Higher launch angle swing with a pull and power approach. Should engage lower half into swing to drive the ball with improved consistency. Named to the Top Prospect List.
