Michael Ragona is a 2020 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Moore Catholic. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high hands and back elbow, deep arm bar to load hands, good extension through contact, loose and projectable swing, solid barrel skills out front, projects well. Primary outfielder and graded out best there, smoothness to actions overall, feet work well, comes through the ball and fields cleanly with easy balance, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, shows athleticism and range, max effort release across with exaggerated windup, clocked up to 79 mph. Also pitched, works from the stretch, compact arm stroke to high three quarters slot, fastball worked 76-78 mph with solid life, only threw fastballs and pounded the zone. Very good student.
