Lucas Torres is a 2021 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Cayey, PR who attends Toritos Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength. New to being a primary catcher and still learning some of the footwork and fundamentals, very good athlete with 6.7 speed and a plus arm at other positions, showed hand quickness in his tranfers, will continue to improve with repetitions. Right handed hitter, has some raw bat speed and hand strength with the ability to get the ball to jump off the barrel, tends to change his hitting approach frequently and will need to develop some consistency. Good student, signed with Alabama State. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
