Anthony Meduri is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-2 181 lb. frame from Columbus, NJ who attends St Augustine Preparatory. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders, long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Very athletic, ran a 6.76 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows nice footwork to the ball, gets weight behind the ball well, strong and accurate arm with carry to intended base, up to 91 mph from the outfield. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a full and loose arm action in the back. Slight hip turn at top, gets on top of fastball well and works down in the zone, topped 86 mph with slight cut and comes out of hand clean. Also showed an 11-5 curveball with tight spin at 74 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and a low hand set. Path has length but quick through the zone, shows strength and carry off the barrel, gets to front side early at times, creates line drive contact. Verbal commitment to Binghamton. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
