Harrison Fant is a 2017 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton High School. Extra large frame, lean build, broad shoulders, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Primary left handed pitcher, used a short rocker step, high leg raise, gathers at balance point, tall through backside, balanced, and showed good tempo on mound. Used a short, compact delivery, crossfire element, closed landing, and threw from an extended three quarter arm slot. Showed good arm side life on 78-82 mph fastball. Slider showed 3/7 shape with good lateral movement and sweep across the zone. Changeup showed good movement with lade fading life. Replicated his arm speed for the pitch at 70 mph. Also worked out at first base, showed a long arm action with clean fielding skills with good accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, started with a wide, open base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Line drive swing plane with good strength through point of contact. Went to all fields with developing bat speed.
