2004 World Showcase
Stack-Babich is a strong, athletic, MLB body type with classic right field tools. His most interesting tool is his power potential. Stack-Babich generates very good bat speed and uses his 6-3 size well in gaining leverage in his swing. He’s definitely going to hit some home runs at the next level but Stack-Babich also impressed us with his ability to make consistent hard contact. He has solid average big league arm strength from right field and also threw 84-85 mph off the mound. He runs fairly well and he has athletic actions. He is an outstanding student who has signed to attend Wake Forest. Tom could develop into a high draft pick either on the mound or in the outfield. His best days are ahead of him.
