Zac Favre is a 2012 RHP with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Providence HS. Solid mature build, very good present strength. Full back turn and curl delivery, pushes hard to the plate with his lower half, long arm action, shows ball in back, low 3/4's release, repeats unusual mechanics very well. Upper 80's fastball, touches 90 mph, big running action on FB at times. Best pitch low 80's slider, sharp with late biting action, ideal power to slider and consistent with action. Slow show me curveball with depth for early strikes. Gets both FB and SL to glove side at will, gets SL under LHH'ers hands with consistency, best when pitching down, aggressive pitching style. Slider will get pro attention. Big draft if he gains more velocity. Good student. Signed with Central Florida.
