Nicholas Santomauro is a 2006 outfielder from North Caldwell, NJ with a strong projectable body at 6-1, 185 lbs. He hits from an open stance with a very aggressive approach in the zone. He has very strong hands and he generates good bat speed with a lofted swing plane. He has big power when he gets extended and he crushed balls in batting practice and during the games. He makes hard contact and the ball jumps off his bat. He has good bat control and he uses the whole field. Defensively, he has a very strong arm at 88 mph from the outfield with good carry. He has a fluid motion with a long arm action and he makes accurate throws. He is a solid outfielder that will hit for big power and he is a high level prospect for 2006. Nicholas is an excellent student.
