2026 PG Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase
Rhys Werksman is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 5-9 176 lb. frame from Bridgeville, PA who attends South Fayette Twp. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Works from a side step delivery with belt high leg raise, longer stride down the mound, long and loose arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, some crossfire angle at release. Fastball sat in the mid-80's with some running life. Slider was a nice pitch with big sweeping depth and plenty of power and bite. Threw strikes and repeated his mechanics. More to come if he can get bigger. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, is light on his feet and moves well to the ball, fields out front cleanly, effort thrower but controls his direction and release well and makes accurate one hop throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium closed stance with a simple load and timer, has present bat speed with good extension through contact, mid field line drive contact, repeats his timing and swing well, solid hitting tools. Good student. Named to the PG Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
