Primary shortstop on defense, has good balanced athletic actions to the ball and lateral range to both sides, some ability to adjust his arm slots, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, has a short and compact line drive swing from an open stance, rotational swing mechanics, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Took a turn on the mound, has a medium length arm action to a high 3/4's arm slot. Threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 77 mph with some sink and occasional run, also showed a mid-60's curveball with some 11/5 depth and good feel for landing it. Good student.
