Cooper Norris is a 2029 OF/RHP with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Cohassset, MA who attends Dexter Southfield. Shorter medium build with some compact strength. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has solid fundamental actions through the ball, fields the ball cleanly with well timed glove work, made accurate throws from a long and loose arm action, well coached and athletically able to execute. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a simple stride into contact, looking to create lift in his contact, mid field to pull side contact, swings hard, would benefit from a more level swing plane. Also took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber with a basic leg raise start, high 3/4's arm slot, tends to open his front side early coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 76 mph and was mostly straight with occasional sinking or cutting life. Curveball had some tightness and spin in the low 60's and showed promise, also flashed a fading change up.
