Reid Edmonds is a 2029 LHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA, who attends Falls Church High School. He has a young, medium build with lots of time and room to add strength. On the mound, he works from a full wind-up with good direction down the slope and an over-the-top arm slot. He has poise and pitchability, consistently filling up the strike zone with his fastball and mixes in a slider that has 1/7 shape with quality depth. His ability to land the pitch for strikes or use it as a chase pitch helps him miss barrels and keep hitters off balance. Defensively, he has smooth, athletic actions in the outfield with good footwork and the ability to field the ball out front. He transitions cleanly into his throws with a short arm path and some carry. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has solid bat speed, an aggressive approach, and some barrel control. Intriguing player with good upside. Excellent student.
