Korbin Winter is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Lena, IL who attends Lena. Big and strong well proportioned build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and straight stance with a hanging front leg trigger, big load with a big swing, lots of separation, some present bat speed with strong hands at contact, hit gap to gap with good carry. Added two doubles during game action. 8.57 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense with fundamental footwork and fields out front. Moves off the bag efficiently and gets to a fundamental fielding position with above average arm strength and accurate throws across. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from the stretch only from the middle of the rubber with a just below the belt-high leg kick. Separates the hands at the belly and into a shorter, in-line arm path and accelerates through an extended, low three- quarter angle. Gets under the low-to-upper-70s fastball (2115 RPM) that topped out at 80 to get some cutting action on it. The mid-60s slider has some tightness to the spin with a bit more lateral action that the fastball. Good student. Named to the 14U Midwest All-State Games Top Prospect List.
