Nicola Cespe is a 2026 C/2B/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Kings Park, NY who attends Kings Park. Medium build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle, comes out of his crouch well and stays on line into his throw, medium length arm action with a long stride into release, has some elements to shorten, consistent throws on the right side of the bag. Also worked out in the outfield, very aggressive to the ball and will get rushed at times, early front side, energy stood out. Right handed hitter, starts from an even stance with a quiet high hand load and a small tap trigger, tends to start his swing abruptly and not get off his back side, best contact was to the middle of the field, improved through his round as he adjusted his timing. Excellent student.
