2024 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase
Evan Colsch is a 2025 OF/RHP/UT with a 6-0 189 lb. frame from North Liberty, IA, who attends Liberty. A medium build in a taller frame -- higher-set waist. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who moves with some fluidity and a clean route through it. He had some solid carry on his throws with good accuracy. Shuffles through it with some athleticism and one-hop accuracy to home. Threw 80 mph during his round, with stronger throws shown throughout the round of throws. Took a clean round of BP as a right-handed hitter. He starts with a broader base, deeper & higher-set hands with the back elbow up. He turns hard through it, using a simple toe-tap stride to get through the zone. Produced strong backside swings with line drive contact on a slightly uphill path through it. He rotates through it well with some good impacts. Quick hands and a quick bat, with a clue to be on time. Clean pull-side approach during BP with an 81 mph exit velocity during PG Tech Testing. Excellent student. Named to 2024 PG Midwest Workout Showcase TP List.
