2026 PG Hawaii National Showcase Qualifier (Pearl City)
Brodi Kansana is a 2029 OF/LHP with a 5-10 142 lb. frame from Kaunakakai, HI who attends King Kekaulike. Lean young build. Primary outfielder on defense, rounds the ball well and fields off to the side, has a short and compact arm stroke with good young arm strength, tends to throw uphill and can improved with better fundamentals. Left handed hitter sets up in a spread and open stance with an inward toe tap timer and high hand load, long and steep swing path with some lift out front, flashed some impact when he kept his front side closed but tends to open early and hit around the ball. Took a turn on the mound, works from a high leg raise delivery with a low 3/4's arm slot, strides open out front. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph, also threw a sweeping curveball that can be tightened up into more of a slider in the future. Plenty of tools that can be further refined with coaching and repetitions. Good student. Named to the PG Hawaii National Showcase Qualifier Top Prospect List.
