2025 PG Midwest High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Ryne Burroughs is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Council Bluffs, IA who attends Lewis Central. Medium size frame. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a three pitch-mix. Utilizes drop and drive mechanics to the plate with a 3/4 arm slot release. Showed a clean arm action and a fastball in the mid to upper 70's. Spins the breaking ball with 11-5 shape in the mid 60's and shows a straight change up. Did a nice job of repeating the delivery movements and throwing competitive pitches. Popped a 1.96 from behind the plate in defensive drills and showed an accurate throwing arm. Made all the routine plays in the infield with clean glove actions out from and average arm strength across the diamond. Hit from an even base with leg lift timing, will drift some, slight uphill bat path with extension thru the baseball. Showed a pull side approach with a blend of strength and developing bat speed to impact the baseball. Outstanding student.
