Heath Klingensmith is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from New London, NC who attends North Stanly. Big and strong physical build. Two-way prospect as a right handed pitcher and corner infielder. Clean mechanics on the mound with balance and the ability to get downhill and create angle on the stuff. Fastball was located well all around the zone and topped at 89. 11-5 shape curve with depth in the upper 60's that spun over 2400 RPM. Sequenced the stuff well, showed a feel to set up and put away hitters with a real potential out pitch in the curveball. Makes the routine play in the infield with fundamental actions and showed solid average arm strength across the diamond. Hit from an even base, real strength in the swing with a slight uphill bat path, takes the hands direct to the baseball and extends through well. Drove the baseball consistently in BP hitting multiple baseballs well over the fence. 2-way impact potential. Very good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
