Christopher Meyer is a 2029 OF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Huntington, NY who attends Chaminade. Medium slender young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight upright stance with a high back elbow load and an inward toe tap timer, line drive swing plane, looking to get extended out front, has some young bat speed to develop as he gets stronger. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has deliberate actions to the ball with a vertical crow hop into his transition, arm works well from an over the top arm slot, more arm strength there with increased momentum into his throws. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a low leg raise start and high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, limited lower half drive down the mound. Fastball sat in the lower 70's and was thrown for strikes, more velocity there with adjustments to his delivery. Also threw a sweeping slider with some depth and a firm change up. Excellent student.
