Charles Jacobs is a 2027 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from San Luis Obispo, CA who attends San Luis Obispo. Features a taller well-proportioned build with avg. athleticism. Ran an 8.65 60-yd dash. At 1B, showed solid fundamentals. Waited back on most GBs but showed present glove skill and sureness. Exhibited solid footwork on DPs. At the plate, he sat in a more upright stance with an even base. He used a simple forward stride trigger as he his hands loaded the barrel into a flatter launch poisiton. Hands work on a more direct path with consistent contact under the baseball and with a level finish. Showed a pullside approach and flashed some quality strength at impact. On the mound, he worked exclusively from the stretch. Showed decent engagement and use of his lower half. Arm worked shorter in tbe back and up to a higher ¾ slot. His fastball worked up to 67 that he threw consistently in-zone, inducing a lot of contact. Mixed in a upper 50s changeup he killed spin on and flashed some depth.
