2025 PG West Coast Uncommitted Prospect Showcase
Xinping Chris Zhu is a 2027 2B/SS with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Shanghai, SH who attends Indiana University High School. Smaller frame. Primary middle infielder, he showed quality lateral quickness to go with fundamentally sound footwork. Glove is solid but can stab a bit when working to the backhand. Short compact arm action produces accurate throws. Right-handed hitter, open stance, and quiet move forward as he fires. Short direct path gets to a balnced contact point. Hands stay inside and produce lots of the middle of the field geared contact. Still developing the strength to work it through the gaps. 6.97 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
