Miguel Ibarra Cantu is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Hanover Park, IL who attends Glenbard North. Physical medium size frame. Ran a 7.84 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with drop and drive mechanics, 3/4 slot and solid average arm speed for the age. Worked the fastball in the mid to upper 70's topping at 78. Developing spin traits to the mid 60's breaking ball and some feel to turn over a change up. Sound fundamentals at 1B with the ability to make all the routine plays and showed an accurate arm on throws across the diamond. Hit from a medium base, drifts to contact, uphill bat path with some strength and developing bat speed. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
