Juleyn Stephens is a 2028 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Moline, IL who attends Moline. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a comfortable load and shift into contact, has good present bat speed and gets on plane early, good balance through contact and some extension out front, ball comes off the barrel well, was consistent with his timing, projects well with his strength and base swing to continue to improve as a hitter. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good fundamental footwork and stays balanced well, has a quick release on his throws and makes accurate throws, solid overall actions, arm works well and projects to continue to get stronger, has a loose shoulder. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a long and loose 3/4's arm action. Did a good job throwing strikes with a mid-70's fastball that topped out at 77 mph, fastball was mostly straight. Also threw a mid-60's curveball with a bit of downer shape.
