Apollo Covey is a 2028 C/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian School. Medium young build with some wiry strength to continue to build on. Right hand hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with high hands in his load and a small knee lift timer, swings hard and creates bat speed with some extension through contact, worked pull side to mid field and showed power potential when he was able to turn on the ball, has projectable hitting tools. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has athletic actions and replaces his feet well, solid overall fundamentals to go with some arm strength and carry on his throws. Also worked out in the outfield, less polished actions on the grass, worked through the ball well and fielded cleanly. Excellent student.
