Jacob Flores is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma. Medium young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 4.76 runner in the forty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball out front cleanly, shuffles into his transition and throws, gets on top of the ball well with an over the top release on his throws and some carry. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a short and simple load, short hands driven swing with a line drive swing plane, stays balanced well, line drive contact to call fields. Also pitched, works from a side step delivery with a medium length arm action in back that hides the ball well and a short stride down the mound, has deception in his arm and mechanics. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with good carry up and some cutting action down, got plenty of bad swings on the fastball. Mid-60's curveball had some downer depth, also killed the spin well on a change up. Has the pitches and some feel for using them. Good student.
