Ricky Leukhardt is a 2028 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lake Villa, IL who attends Lakes Community. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Primary middle infielder who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Works from a full rocker step wind up on the mound with some coil over the rubber, loose arm with arm speed and whip, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot. Fastball was mostly in the mid-80's and topped out at 89 mph early with good downhill plane and was thrown for strikes. Relied mostly on his fastball while showing an occasional mid-70's slider and a developing change up, slider has potential with some spin and feel for landing, can use it more often. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a toe tap timer and high and deep hand load, longer swing path, uses his lower half well and gets rotation, some uphill swing plane, and shows lift to the pull side gap when he's on time. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Has quick feet and athletic actions at shortstop, longer exchange and arm action, has lots of arm strength with developing accuracy. Good student. Named to the Great Lakes High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
