2025 PG Florida High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Jarred Vermillion Jr. is a 2027 C/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Melbourne Beach, FL who attends Melbourne. Big and strong build, especially in his lower half. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open start and sinks into his legs well to start his swing, swings hard, tends to cut off his swing out front, has the strength to impact the ball when he gets extended, pull approach with some uphill plane, projectable power with adjustments. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down, has good raw arm strength, long stride and long arm takeaway into his throws, developing consistency in his transfers, arm is his best defensive tool. 8.35 runner in the sixty. Good student.
