Aaron Ahu is a 2030 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends University Laboratory. Long and lean young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, tends to wait back on the ball and get his glove down late, throws from a lower arm slot with some arm strength for his age, charged the ball well, can see him growing into a third baseman in the future. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high hand load, looking to pull the ball, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also pitched, works from a standard leg raise delivery with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph with some sinking life. Landed a big sweeping curveball well for strikes. Has two-way potential on the mound. Good student. Named to the PG Hawaii National Showcase Qualifier Top Prospect List.
