Oliver Martin is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, UT with a 4-11 100 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Eastwood Middle School. Compact build that can mature and develop as he adds strength. Ran a 8.60 in the 60-yard dash. Showed good direction and charges in both infield and outfield drills. Funnels well with good footwork and softer hands for age. Arm is developing, but gets in position and has consistent process in his defensive balance. Also showed a fastball and curveball combination as a right-handed pitcher, changing tempos from a higher three-quarter release. Right-handed hitter, wider base and open stance with a medium hand set. Solid hands that stay on time for age, shows real timing and good feel by staying up the middle. Bit of jump at contact with more strength in store as he matures. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
