2025 PG Mid-Atlantic Uncommitted Prospect Showcase
Jacob McClain is a 2026 3B/RHP/UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Hatboro, PA who attends Conwell Egan Catholic. Slender medium build with some length to his arms and legs. Right handed hitter, sets up in a upright and slightly open stance with a short hanging leg raise load, was well timed with good barrel control, loose hands with some developing strength in them, mostly pull side contact. 7.91 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, moves to the ball easily with good footwork, light on his feet, made accurate throws and changed his arm slots well, pretty polished actions. Also worked out in the outfield with similar athleticism and arm strength, can play all over the field defensively. Took a turn on the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch with a standard leg lift over the rubber and a short high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the mid-70's with some cutting action at times. Flashed some depth on a curveball with 11/5 shape. Good student.
