Zacheus Afoeju is a 2029 RHP/IF/UT with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Apple Valley. Features a longer, athletic frame with room to add. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with fundamentally sound, balanced and repeatable delivery with a four-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, slider and split. Presence on the mound throwing out of a 3/4 arm slot with arm side run while throwing the fastball and developing feel for the secondary offerings. Secondary infielder with developing lateral actions. Showed a strong arm across with inconsistent accuracy. Medium base at the plate with an upright open stance and high back elbow with a barrel tip and low hanging hand set. Developing feel for the barrel with a mistimed barrel showing strength to the pull side when timed up. Great student.
