Alex Sangiorgi is a 2027 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Stony Brook, NY who attends Ward Melville. Slender medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, step by step actions through the ball, tends to get his glove down late and slow his momentum into his throws, developing fundamentals. Right handed hitter, hits from an even balanced stance with a hanging inward trigger, slightly uphill swing plane, tends to cut off his swing out front, hits to all fields with mostly opposite field contact. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a 3/4's arm slot, compact mechanics. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, killed the spin on his change up well, tended to slow his arm on a soft curveball. Speed is his best tool. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
