Colton Floyd is a 2027 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-5 235 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Corona Del Sol. Extra tall and physical build with outstanding present strength. Two-way prospect as a right handed power hitter and strong armed pitcher. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Arm strength is his best defensive tool, gets on top of the ball well with plus carry. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a very high hand load, steep path down into the zone, has strong hands and can drive the ball hard, has adjustments to make for more consistent barrels. Graded out higher on the mound at this event. Works from a side step delivery with tall and fall mechanics down the mound, 3/4's arm slot with a low effort release. Fastball topped out at 93 mph with good life and was thrown for strikes. Slider had tight spin and sweeping depth with some bite. Good student with a commitment to Texas A&M.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
