Hector Green is a 2027 SS/OF with a 6-1 179 lb. frame from Naranjito, PR who attends Leadership Christian Academy. Very athletic build with good present strength and plenty of projection remaining. Outstanding runner, 6.33 in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has very athletic actions and quick feet with big range, charges the ball as well as any player this age, big arm strength, hands are smooth, has all the tools to be an elite level defensive shortstop. Also threw from the outfield. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and balanced stance with a high hand load, swings hard with fast hands and plenty of bat speed, stays on top of the ball, can keep working on getting more consistency in his timing. Named to the PG Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier Showcase Top Prospect List.
