Jacob (Cubby) Bailey is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from North Wales, PA who attends Archbishop Wood. Bailey works from a medium broad build with strength present throughout. Primary IF, displayed a quick first step with softness to hands and overall feel for the glove. Got to spots effectively with clean funnels. Produced accurate throws across the diamond ultimately topping out at 80 mph. Offensively, started from a slightly open base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Leveraged stroke with intent to work the middle of the field for impact. Attempts to create lift in the bat path with solid feel for the barrel. Posted an exit velo of 79 mph. Ran a 7.64 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
