LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2003 World Showcase
The PG World Showcase provided us with our first chance to get an extended look at Prescott. He’s a solidly built 6’0/195 lb athlete. He showed average MLB running speed on a slow track. He looked even better running the bases where he displayed outstanding instincts and base running ability. His arm is around MLB average (mid 80s velocity) and he appears to have good body control and fielding actions for the outfield. Prescott will go as far as his bat will take him. It looks like he can hit and he flashes big time power potential with wood. He has yet to commit to a college and with a good spring season could become a serious draft prospect.
