Jace Koth is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Algonquin, IL who attends Harry D Jacobs. Lean, compact build with present athleticism and plenty of room for additional strength. Primary outfielder, gets a good first step on the baseball and works through it well. Fields it cleanly and takes a bigger stride before separating. Attempts to carry his momentum into release. Kept his throws online while recording arm strength up to 79 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, works from a full wind-up delivery with a belt-high leg lift. Breaks the hands at the chest and into a slightly offline arm path. Releases the ball from a low three-quarters slot. Remains balanced over the rubber and creates some extension prior to footstrike. Fastball showed occasional cut and natural sink, ultimately peaking at 78 mph. Mixed in a bigger curveball with a developing spin profile. Projects for an uptick in velocity with physical maturity. Left-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow. Utilizes a hanging leg lift trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Generates some quickness through the zone with extension out in front. Gets rotational and pulls off at times. Produced several soft liners to the pull-side during batting practice. Posted an exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran a 7.08 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
