Cooper Hums is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 161 lb. frame from Mishawaka, IN who attends Penn. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.57 runner in the sixty, speed really played well on the bases. Primary outfielder on defense, very aggressive through the ball, good footwork into his throws and makes on line accurate throws, clean arm stroke that projects. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance and a deep hand load, well timed swing, swings hard and has good bat speed, stays balanced and directional well in his swing and can drive the ball oppo or pull it with nice jump off the barrel. Very good all around athlete who plays with great energy on the field. Very good student. Named to the Great Lakes Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
