Oliver Castro is a 2029 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Miami Shores, FL who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Features an athletic, projectable build with room to add to the frame. 7.88 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman with developing lateral quickness, and moves upright working side to side. Clean exchanges that lack urgency with into a longer release across that's accurate. Showed a clean glove in the outfield and accurate arm throwing out of a high three-quarter arm slot with medium arm action. Uphill release with one hop accuracy. Right handed pitcher with a standard side step delivery and throwing out of a three-quarter arm slot. The arm speed is developing but showed command of the zone and the ability to move the ball in and out effectively. Wider base at the plate with a high back elbow and high hand set. Toe-tap-trigger start with a rotational swing and gets stuck on the backside. Middle of the field approach with gap strength when on time with the barrel. Good student.
