Ben Blasco is a 2025 OF/SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Lone Tree, CO who attends Valor Christian High School. Compact frame, lean strength present with a proportional build. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, stretch only from the third base side of the rubber, clean process through all phases, hands at the chest through the break, belt high lift and creates tough crossfire angle with foot strike, efficient arm action, projects nicely for a '27, nasty sweeping curveball with low spin traits, sinking arm side change up right at 1000 RPM in the mix, feel for entire mix and can land it all for strikes, in the zone, sequenced well and has arm speed that projects with present pitchability. Took reps in the outfielder, long process to get through throwing motion, developing actions here and footwork, waits back on it. Left-handed hitter, even base with upright stance, limited hand movement, some loft to the path, gets extended out front, rotational, flies open and pulls off at times, occasional solid contact. Primary arm right now with feel for three pitch mix and an athletic operation on the slope. Good student. Named to the 2024 Colorado Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
