Destin Billings is a 2027 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Kouts, IN who attends Washington Township. Medium athletic build with some physical projectability remaining. Features a medium-sized lean build with room to add. Ran a 7.79 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed developing actions. Active and quick feet but lacked body control at times. Late in getting glove down but fielded most clean with a deep funnel. Extra shuffle and gather before release with an arm that works with medium length out the back and to release with some quality strength (84 mph). At the plate, operates from an upright + narrow stance with tighter set hands. Uses a hover trigger that shows some drift onto his front side. Heavy hands with obvious strength that work the barrel on an inconsistent path but decent barrel accuracy. Showed some pull side impact both during BP and during gameplay. On the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch. Used a quick leg lift before extending direct down the slop. Consistent medium arm path to a lower slot that create some natural movement and deception. FB worked in the mid 80s, T87 with a bit of running action to it. Mixed in a low 70s SL with some quality depth and a developing mid 70s CH. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.
