2026 PG Sunshine Southwest Showcase (National Showcase Qualifier)
Caeden Crang is a 2029 C/RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Williams Field. Lean young medium build with plenty of room to continue to get stronger. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense who is athletic enough to play effectively all over the field. Sets up one knee down behind the plate, gains ground well and has good footwork and foot quickness, solid arm strength. True utility player who showed aggressiveness, arm strength and solid actions in the infield and outfield as well. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with an easy gather and quick trigger, loose hands and solid bat speed through the zone, has some juice off the barrel and projects as a hitter. Also pitched, showed a mid-70's fastball from a compact arm action and short stride down the mound, also threw a soft downer curveball. Excellent student. Named to the PG Sunshine Southwest Showcase Top Prospect List.
