2025 PG Fall East Coast Workout Showcase (Friday)
Lawrence Roccamo is a 2027 C/3B/IF with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from New Fairfield, CT who attends New Fairfield. Short and compact build with some athleticism in his actions. 7.56 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in an exaggerated side saddle stance, stands early to throw, has some quickness in his exchange and release, made accurate throws with some arm strength. Also worked out in the infield as a secondary third baseman, plays low to the ground and gets behind the ball well, clean funnel and glove work, also tends to stand upright to throw here, makes accurate soft throws from multiple angles. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high hand load, has a short and compact swing, mid field to opposite field with a line drive swing plane, high contact swing that he executes consistently. Good student.
