Lucca Sando is a 2030 RHP/C/3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Washington, IL who attends Washington Comm. Medium frame with well-proportioned strength present. 7.84 runner in the sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked from the stretch and pushes off the 1b side of the rubber. Higher leg kick with limited downhill extension created. Shorter arm path into a high 3/4 slot. Fastball showed some arm-side run, topping at 82 mph. Mixed in a softer curveball with decent depth to it. Gets underneath the breaker at times. Some swing-and-miss in the profile. Secondary catcher, sets up in a squared stance and works into a direct midline transfer. Some ground gained as he works inline with his target. Strong throws up to 74 mph with a pop-time of 1.97 sec. Right-handed batter, starts in an eve stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a quick stride forward for timing before working into a flatter bat path. Generates some bat speed through the zone with developing feel to adjust. Decent middle-of-the-field impact when timed up. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph.
