2019 Top Prospects

Gustavo Sosa  C - 2019 - Staten Island, NY
South Mountain CC

With an event best 1.85 pop time and 88 mph arm across the infield, it is no question Sosa has the tools to be a big time player. The Staten Island native has a high level hit tool as well. Sosa is committed to Rutgers University.

Dylan Rogers  OF - 2019 - Spartanburg, SC
Appalachian State/Chattahoochee Valley CC

Rogers has an impressive swing with good bat speed and loud barrel skills to pull side. The Kentucky commit also has a solid arm topping out at 87 mph from the outfield.

William Oliver Kelley  OF - 2019 - Newnan, GA
Freed-Hardeman University/Southern Union State CC

At a very physical 6-foot-3 205-pounds, Kelley really looks the part and his tools back that up. The outfielder from the peach state has a raw hit tool with loud pop as well as a playable arm gunning 85 mph from the outfield.

Mitchell Leroy  RHP - 2019 - Tampa, FL
Hillsborough CC

With the best velocity from the event, Leroy topped out at 90 mph off the mound. The Hillsborough Community College commit has a short arm action and mixed in a tight curveball with good feel.

Victor Manuel Torres  C - 2019 - Las Piedras, PR
Northwest Florida State College

The primary catching Torres did more than just have a 1.89 second pop and an 82 mph arm to second base. The uncommitted Torres displayed impressive speed with a 6.53-second 60 yard dash.

Samuel Torres  C - 2019 - Yauco, PR
Wabash Valley College

Torres has an impressive catching tool with a quick transfer resulting in a 1.93-second best pop time. The 2019 graduate from Puerto Rico has leverage and torque in his swing with jump when squared.

Robert Minotti  OF - 2019 - New Smyrna Beach, FL
Uncommitted

The VMI commit has good speed running a 6.63-second 60 yard dash and an impressive arm tossing an event best 88 mph across the diamond. Minotti also displayed some pop of the barrel of his bat with a 92 mph exit velocity.

O'Kelly McWilliams IV  RHP - 2019 - Oakton, VA
Wofford

Multiple tools were on display for the, listed, primary righthanded pitcher including an 84 mph arm on the mound, 83 mph arm across the diamond and a 6.76-second 60 yard dash. McWilliams IV also showed a line drive swing plane with lots hard barreled contact.

Javier Rojas  C - 2019 - Coamo, PR
Chipola College

Rojas showcased high level catching tools with a 1.90 best pop and topping out at 80 mph down to the second base bag. There is leverage in his righthanded swing with present bat speed.

Daniel Labrador  C - 2019 - Miami, FL
Miami

Labrador bumped a 1.95-second best pop time with fluid and smooth actions behind the plate. The University of Miami commit also has strength in his swing with pop when squared.

Jakob Runnels  C - 2019 - Winter Haven, FL
St. Johns River CC

Runnels has good barrel skills with a high contact swing. The catcher from Florida tossed a 1.95-second best pop time with a smooth exchange leading into throws.

Jack Hattrup  LHP - 2019 - Plano, TX
McLennan CC

With room to fill in his already projectable 6-foot-4 187-pound frame, Hattrup is a lefthanded pitcher with high level pitchability. Running his fastball up to 83 with good command and a solid three pitch mix, the junior from Plano, Texas has a bright future on the mound.


2020 Top Prospects

Asher Akridge  OF - 2020 - Gainesville, FL
Seminole State College

Akridge opened a lot of eyes this weekend with a number of impressive feats. The uncommitted prospect ran a blistering 6.44 second 60-yard dash with a very loose and quick swing that saw him hit for home run power during games.

Edward Gonzalez  SS - 2020 - Yabucoa, PR
Florida International/Miami-Dade College

With lots of athleticism and twitch, Gonzalez showed off his strong skill set in all facets. He ran a 6.72 second 60-yard dash, threw 87 mph across the infield with soft hands and light actions, and took very good swings with natural loft and good barrel skills.

Caleb Marmo  OF - 2020 - Johnson City, TN
Wake Forest

Marmo showed off some impressive tools with a strong arm in the outfield, recorded up to 85 mph, and very good run times with a 6.63 second 60-yard dash. The uncommitted Tennessee native also showed good potential offensively with good bat-to-ball skills.

Wyatt Langford  3B - 2020 - Trenton, FL
Florida

With impressive physicality and strength throughout the swing, Langford's offensive presence was in full force over the weekend. He has good bat speed and can impact the ball with lots of strength, recorded 89 mph exit velocity.


2021 Top Prospects

Bryan Loriga  3B - 2021 - Hialeah, FL
Florida International

The Florida International commit had a very strong weekend, particularly standing out with the bat. There's a lot of natural strength and leverage to the swing while Loriga does a good job torquing his hips to generate power. The offensive polish is very impressive at such a young age.

Reynaldo Angeles  SS - 2021 - Oakland Gardens, NY
Sullivan County CC

There were a lot of things to like about Angeles' game especially for such a young player. The arm strength and speed stand out with 84 mph throws across the infield and a strong 60-yard dash time at 6.81 seconds. Angeles also has intriguing potential on the mound with good arm speed.

Tommy Tavarez  SS - 2021 - Brooklyn, NY
Pittsburgh

Tavarez displayed fluidity to the baseball with natural infield actions. The Brooklyn native has athleticism as well as a solid arm recording an 86 mph throw across the diamond. He also showcased quick hands to the baseball with the ability to drive the well to all fields.
